International Yoga Day 2026 Celebrated at IPEMA–Poultry India

IPEMA–Poultry India celebrated the 12th International Day of Yoga at its office in Madhapur, Hyderabad, bringing together staff, management, and President Uday Singh Bayas in a collective effort to embrace health, wellness, and mindfulness through yoga.

The programme was organized in line with the official theme of International Yoga Day 2026, “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” highlighting the importance of yoga in promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, emotional balance, and healthy living across all age groups.

Echoing the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who describes yoga as an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition that unites mind and body and serves as a universal “pause button” for humanity to find peace, the event emphasized yoga’s role as a holistic path to physical health, mental well-being, and active ageing.

The yoga session was conducted by Ms. Sreeja Gaddam, a Certified Classical Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga Trainer (YTTC 500 Hours, Pre & Post Natal Yoga Teacher and SBTET Yoga Certified Instructor). Through a series of guided asanas, breathing exercises, and wellness practices, she encouraged participants to incorporate yoga into their daily lives for improved health and longevity.

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from the IPEMA–Poultry India team, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to fostering a healthy and positive work environment.

In recognition of her valuable contribution towards promoting health and wellness, Ms. Sreeja Gaddam was felicitated by the President of IPEMA–Poultry India, Uday Singh Bayas, along with other management staff during the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, the participants reaffirmed the significance of yoga as a timeless practice that nurtures both body and mind. The celebration served as a reminder that a healthier self contributes to a healthier society and a better future for all.

Through such initiatives, IPEMA–Poultry India continues to encourage holistic well-being and healthy lifestyle practices among its employees and stakeholders.
