FEED TECH EXPO 2016-India’s first ever feed focused exhibition concluded along with 16th edition of Biennial Animal Nutrition Conference on ‘Innovative Approaches for Animal Feeding and Nutritional Research’ on 6-7-8 February at NDRI, Karnal.
The event was primarily conceived to bring together various companies associated with all the aspects of feed industry from raw material suppliers to the manufacture of finished products at one place, to display their products viz. raw materials, latest versions of feed milling units/machinery, modern technologies related to fodder production/ preservation, like hydroponics, silos, animal health products, feed additives like mineral and vitamins, herbal products, pro/pre biotics, direct fed microbes and the feed quality testing equipment.
The three day event was inaugurated by Sh. Om Prakash Dhankar, a Cabinet Minister in Haryana Govt. along with Dr. A.K. Srivastava, Director and VC, NDRI Deemed University, NDRI, Karnal. During 2nd day of the event Dr. G. S. Jakhar, Director General, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Govt. of Haryana, along with other government officials and consultants visited the expo, also showed keen interest in the newer feeding technologies, and also complimented the organizers for hosting such an event.
The event was a grand success, rather much beyond our expectations, where around 50 companies participated in the three day expo along with 1937 visitors consisted of feed millers, integrators, farmers, scientists etc.
Apart from large number of farmers/scientist/ conference participants visiting the stalls, the mega event also attracted the luminaries in the feed industry, cattle/ poultry/ fish industry, feed associations, like Sh. Jagbir Dhull MD, Skylark Group, president PFI), Sh. Baljit Reddu ( MD, Lakshya Farms), Dr. Dinesh Bhosale ( former Chairman, CLFMA), just to name a few. In fact, CLFMA and PFI also held their executive meetings during the expo.
