Amit Sachdev serves as the South Asia (India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka) Representative for the U.S. Grains Council that promotes the use of U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products worldwide. He provides end-users with updates on U.S. commodity prices and acts as a liaison with the traders in the region for importing U.S. commodities. He works closely with policy-makers in the countries in the region in the industry to provide information on policy changes that are required for smooth trade.
