CLFMA of India Hosts Successful Poultry Seminar on Industry Challenges and Future Prospects.

The Compound Livestock Feed Manufacturers Association (CLFMA) of India successfully hosted a Poultry Seminar on March 5, 2025, at Ramee Grand Hotel, Pune. The seminar, themed “Poultry in India: Current Challenges & the Way Forward – A CLFMA Perspective,” brought together 120 industry stakeholders, including feed manufacturers, poultry farmers, nutritionists, consultants, and experts from across the region.

The event commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Divya Kumar Gulati, Chairman, CLFMA of India, highlighting the association’s commitment to addressing key industry challenges and driving innovation in the poultry sector.

The event was moderated by Dr. Saikat Saha, President, West Zone, CLFMA of India, who ensured a smooth flow of discussions and engaged participants in meaningful dialogues.

  • Dr. Someshwar Zadbuke (Godrej Agrovet Ltd.) provided an overview of the current challenges in poultry nutrition and the need for sustainable feed solutions.
  • Mr. Amiya Nath (Japfa Comfeed India Pvt. Ltd.) shared insights on entrepreneurial challenges in the poultry sector and strategies for growth.
  • Dr. Alim Khan Pathan (Vimala Feeds Pvt. Ltd.) discussed the changing landscape of poultry processing in India, emphasizing the need for modernization.
  • Mr. Sandip Guha (Bunge) addressed the issues and scope of feed ingredients in India, shedding light on market trends and supply chain concerns.
