IB Group signs MOU of Rs.375 Crore for setting up Chicken Processing Plant & Maize Starch Plant

IB Group’s diversification continues with new manufacturing & processing units worth Rs. 375 crore  as on June 04, 2015, at Chief Minister House, Raipur, in the presence of Honorable Dr. Raman Singh, Chief Minister, Government of Chhattisgarh, Mr. Abishek Singh, Member of Parliament, Rajnandgaon Constituency, Agriculture & Tourism Minister, Mr. Brijmohan Aggarwal, Chief secretary, Mr. Vivek Dhand, Industry Secretary, Mr. Subodh Singh and other important dignitaries from Government of Chhattisgarh,

Mr. Bahadur Ali, Managing Director, Indian Agro And Food Industries Limited, IB Group, signed  two MOU’s  worth Rs.375, first MOU for setting up Chicken Processing Plant  with project cost of 175 crores, having capacity for dressing of 12000 birds per hr and second for setting up Maize Starch Plant with project cost of 200 crores, central India’s biggest corn Starch plant, with a crushing capacity of 600 MT per day. Today, we aim at serving the best in class quality Starch to the industry and making it possible with the most advanced technology in the corn Starch industry said Mr. Bahadur Ali after signing the agreement.

After functioning of this chicken processing plant, IB Group’s protein rich nutritious food will be available in the star category hotels, including international food chains, QSR, malls, premium retail chains. We plan for setting up cold storage units pan India, to serve dressed chicken, portions & boneless. “By setting up a chicken processing plant, we wish to make it available across 29 states & 7 union territories,” said Mr. Bahadur Ali.
