IPEMA–Poultry India Supports IPR Knowledge Review Seminar in Coimbatore

The Coimbatore edition of the IPR Knowledge Review Seminar was held at Le Meridien with a focus on the theme “Disease Dynamics and Control Strategies for Modern Poultry Production.” The seminar brought together poultry farmers, veterinarians, nutritionists, consultants and industry stakeholders to deliberate on emerging disease challenges and sustainable management practices in modern poultry production.

IPEMA – Poultry India supported the event, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening knowledge exchange and scientific advancements in the poultry sector.

Addressing the gathering as Guest of Honour, Uday Singh Bayas, President of IPEMA – Poultry India, represented the association and highlighted the remarkable growth journey of Poultry India Expo, which has evolved into the most significant business and technology platform for the poultry industry in India and South Asia. He emphasised that collaboration, innovation and knowledge-sharing are key to building a resilient and globally competitive poultry sector.

In his address, Mr. Bayas also highlighted the pivotal role played by Tamil Nadu in India’s poultry ecosystem, noting the state’s strong production capabilities, integrated poultry clusters and global export footprint. He stressed that the future of poultry production will increasingly depend on scientific disease management, stronger biosecurity systems, data-driven monitoring and sustainable production practices.

The seminar featured insightful discussions and technical presentations by industry experts covering areas such as poultry health management, immunity, environmental management, antimicrobial resistance, disease monitoring and emerging technologies that can support sustainable poultry farming.

The event served as a valuable platform for industry stakeholders to exchange knowledge and discuss strategies for improving disease control and productivity in modern poultry operations.

Concluding his address, Mr. Uday Singh Bayas invited the poultry fraternity to participate in the 18th Edition of Poultry India Expo 2026, scheduled to be held at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad, from 25–27 November 2026, along with the Poultry Knowledge Day on 24 November 2026. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening India’s poultry exports and expanding access to international markets, encouraging industry stakeholders to collectively work towards enhancing the global presence of Indian poultry products.

He noted that the event will bring together global technology providers, industry leaders, researchers and poultry professionals, further strengthening India’s position as a global poultry powerhouse.
